If you want the classics for spooky season, Peacock is where they are. These are the best horror movies streaming on Peacock in the US right now, ranked by rating, and the list gets refreshed as titles rotate in and out through Halloween and after. Peacock's horror shelf is the old one: half of the top ten were released before 1970, four of them in black and white, and the average Metascore across the ten is 85, against 71 for the Hulu horror top ten. For the full movie shelf beyond one genre, the Peacock what-to-watch page updates daily.

The 10 best horror movies on Peacock right now

1. Psycho (1960)

109 min · IMDb 8.5 · RT 97 · Metascore 97

The best-rated horror movie on Peacock by IMDb and Metascore both, and 0.7 clear of anything on the Hulu list. Hitchcock's motel picture: a real estate clerk steals a bag of cash, drives out of Arizona, and stops for the night at a place run by a young man and his mother. The shower is in the keywords for a reason. Horror, thriller and mystery by genre, with a detective in the second half.

2. Obsession (2026)

A hopeless romantic breaks a wishing willow to make his crush love him, and she does, completely, in a way that stops being romantic fast. Supernatural possession with an absurdist streak, and a warning tag for self-harm. Second-highest IMDb score on the page, from 5,663 TMDB votes and counting.

3. Coraline (2009)

The only animated film on this page, and the one that works with kids in the room. A girl in a new house finds a secret door to a parallel version of her life, better in every way until it names the price for staying. Stop-motion, based on the novel, with dark fantasy and a talking cat in the tags. It also sits at number one on the Hulu horror list, so either subscription gets you to it.
